So, it's that time of year again, folks! It's the 3rd annual Funky Buddha beer pairing dinner at Hot & Soul! We are kind of cutting it close, but the dinner will be Tuesday, August 18. Dinner starts at 7, but you are invited to come in any time after 6 to have a pre dinner libation and hang.
Tickets will be $60, tip not included. This year, we will be selling tickets online on eventbrite, or you will also be able to purchase them at the restaurant as well if you are frightened of eventbrite. Please let us know when you purchase your tickets, if you plan on sitting with other guests purchasing separate tickets. ![]() So... we have been waiting for a while to get these beers from Nola Brewing, and they aren't ready for regular distribution, but thanks to Brown and Ryan Fischer... we got these babies in for the first time in SoFla for American Craft Beer Week! Starting Monday we will be running craft beer pairings. We will start with these 4 Nola brews, and then we will change up the pairing as the specials run out. Here's the pairings that we will start Monday! -shrimp remoulade with greens & heirloom tomatoes, paired with Nola rebirth pale ale -snapper almondine with brabant potatoes & creole meuniere sauce paired with Nola hopitoulas IPA -boudin stuffed quail gumbo with house made andouille sausage paired with Nola mecha imperial IPA -beignets with marscapone and caramel, paired with Nola irish channel stout So, plan to come in Monday or Tuesday if you want to try this lineup! So, we are coming up on another year! This year really went by all too fast. To celebrate, we are going to be offering a special IPA pairing on New Year's Eve. The pairing will be $60 per person, $50 without the beer, but we will also be offering our regular menu as well. We will be serving the special menu from 5 - 10, and we will be closing at 10 on New Year's Eve, so that we can go out and ring in the New Year as well. You can call to make reservations, but we will be taking credit card numbers for this event. Cheers!

Cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, rose hips and chamomile compliment the subtle chocolate and light coffee notes of the malt and the addition of roasted carob and chicory complete the performance.
